Quality Assuarance

Our firm ensures that it is performs audit procedures under the guidelines set by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK). It ensures that the required quality controls are in place; quality controls are properly implemented; and other means of enhancing quality controls are established. It can also identify possible improvements, and corrective measures to be taken for working procedures and manuals. The lead auditor’s partners’ duty to;

1. Take responsibility for overall quality in each audit engagement;
2. Ensure that members of the audit team comply with the relevant ethical requirements;
3. Form a conclusion regarding compliance with the independence requirements that apply to the audit engagement, and to take appropriate action to eliminate threats to independence;
4. Be satisfied that the audit team and any external experts collectively have the appropriate competence and capabilities;
5. Take responsibility for the performance of the audit, specifically: leading, supervising and carrying out the audit;
6. Ensure that reviews are conducted in accordance with the clients’ review policies and procedures
